Nutrition: A Mindful Eating Approach
We can help you to feel more confident and in control of your diet & body.
Make peace with food.
Many people are fighting, frightened, confused, and uneasy about what they eat. We want to solve that because we know it’s frustrating, and we hate to keep people in such a state as they aspire to improve their health and do what they’re meant to do in the world.
We want to help people become more comfortable in their skin while enjoying the foods they like.
Our goal is to help those struggling to get out of the rut and become the best version of themselves without sacrificing their health or nutrition.
We believe food is here to nourish and sustain us so that we can enjoy the time with our loved ones. Therefore, in our practice, we will never make you count calories, follow a strict diet or meal plan, or do a food journal to scrutinize what you eat. We will discuss some of your challenges and what you think is causing your weight gain or other health challenges. From there, we will guide you on improving your health and nutrition intake while improving your relationship with food and yourself. We will develop an actionable plan that we both feel comfortable achieving. We’ll support you throughout your journey to discover and cultivate a healthier relationship with food.
What is Mindful Eating?
Being mindful means being aware of your feelings and fully present in the moment without judgment.
Mindful Eating is a practice we can incorporate at our dining table. It is not a prescribed diet but a way of eating. It will help you achieve your desired weight, alleviate symptoms of illness, and give you confidence and awareness of your true self inside and out! It is sustainable, peaceful, and empowering.
Who would benefit from Mindful Eating?
Anyone looking for solutions to:
stress-related eating
emotional eating
sugar/snack/food cravings
lack of confidence in your body
lack of willpower around food
unwanted weight gain
yo-yo dieting
What can I expect?
The initial step is to explore your current challenges and your goals. We’ll get to know each other and work to create a roadmap that we both feel confident about. We’ll also explore how your emotions and current habits drive your eating choices. Together, we will discover the root cause of your unwanted eating habits.
Through the program, our clients learn when they tend to crave sugar or binge on chips, such as after having a stressful day at work or getting into an argument with a significant other.
They find out that their eating habits are not just a matter of their lack of willpower. In most cases, there are many reasons why you choose certain foods at certain moments. We see many people beat themselves so hard for their lack of willpower against sugar, snacks, and food. We teach that there’s a peaceful way to be good friends with food and feel more empowered to adopt healthier dietary changes.
After we discuss what drives your eating habits and understand how your emotions affect your food choices, we will introduce you to the principles of Mindful Eating. You can apply mindfulness techniques at your dining table, such as honoring the food and using all five senses.
We tailor every single session to fit my client’s lifestyle.
We coach and advice on how you can apply mindful eating principles that works for your busy life.

I do not take insurance for my services. Most insurance plans do not reimburse for my services as it is not considered “Medical Nutrition Therapy” to treat a diagnosed disease. I do accept HSA and FSA.
