Make Your Coverage Work for You.

We take HSA and FSA at House Nine.

While we no longer accept insurance at House Nine, we still encourage you to make the most out of your coverage. Did you know we take HSA and FSA cards at the front desk? We also provide superbills upon request. Let's explore some tips on how to use both of these below.

Using HSA & FSA Cards

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to save for qualified medical expenses. We take HSA and FSA cards at the front desk for services and healthcare products. Some tips for using your HSA/FSA cards below:

As always with any health insurance coverage, check what your HSA/FSA funds can be applied to before using them for our products and services. Some HSA/FSAs allow for tips and retail products, while others do not.

Bring your HSA/FSA card with you in person, as occasionally our booking system does not store these cards on file effectively.

Self-Submitting Superbills

Superbills are a way to self-submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement of services.

Similarly, with HSA and FSA, review your explanation of benefits before taking the time to self-submit to your insurance carrier. This can often be found in your member portal or insurance app.

Once you've clarified your benefits, email our front desk at hello@housenine.com. Let us know what service dates you'd like included on your bill and we will send you your superbill within 48 hours.

We can provide superbills for one service, however, it saves you time self-submitting the more services you include. It is common to self-submit for 3-8 appointments.

Submit superbills according to your carrier's instructions. Insurance companies frequently take 30-90 days to review these.

We hope these tips are helpful as you navigate your coverage and keep up with your bodywork habit.
