Cameron Barton (she/they), LMT#28857
Services Offered: Therapeutic Massage, Heated Herbal Compress
Cameron believes that intentional touch and deep listening can transform their tiny corner of the world, one heartfelt meeting at a time. Their style is best described as slow, subtle, broad, all-encompassing work that addresses the body as a system. She brings sensitivity, deep trust, and a trauma-informed approach to her practice. Cameron incorporates some aspects of craniosacral into most sessions, as the body calls for; deep work does not always mean deep pressure. You are invited to bring your whole self to the table; every part of you is essential and welcome.
Cameron is informed by her own experiences with wellness and medical industries. While navigating traditional healthcare systems during serious injury recovery and managing related PTSD, she sought alternative care and found craniosacral; she was struck by the profound effects of such a subtle modality. After taking adequate time to heal, she enrolled at East West College with enthusiasm and a sincere goal to make bodywork more accessible and less intimidating for all people with bodies. She is also a trained end-of-life doula and comes to the collaborative process of bodywork with great reverence and gratitude for your trust.
Outside of massage and bodywork, Cameron finds joy in riding her bike real fast, giggling with friends, reading great books, swimming in cold water, looking at trains, and uplifting the people in her complex and beautiful life.
